I have a Dishwasher problem?

I have a kenmore elite dishwasher. it's not even a year old, & has been working fine until now. kids noticed water in bottom so i went to drain it & none of the buttons were working. it shares a plug with the garbage disposal so i switched the plug hoping it would work, no luck! i reset electrical box & still nothing...suggestions?
